With the holiday parade behind us and the new year coming up fast, the Pinewood Derby is just around the corner. The Pinewood Derby will take place on February 3rd at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church (Fellowship Hall), 411 Susquehanna Rd, Ambler, which is the same venue we used last year.

 

We will have a build day on January 20th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 235 Summit Ave, Fort Washington. A sign-up sheet will be sent before the event to schedule a time to come and work on your car.

 

We distributed kits to the den leaders at the last pack meeting. If you haven't received your kit, you should be getting it soon. Like last year, we are inviting siblings to participate in the Pinewood Derby. Sibling kits are available for $7 each. If your Scout has a sibling that would like to build a car, please sign up using this Google form.

 

For those of you that would like to start planning your design, a template is attached. Rules for the car designs are also included on the template. We will be handing out awards for best woodworking, best decorated, and most creative, so get thinking on those creative ideas!
